Lillie Ann Dawson
Lillie Ann Dawson has a background in professional and competitive dance, gymnastics, acrobatics, strengthening and flexibility. Lillie Ann began her career as a gymnast, training for several years before finding her passion in acrobatic style dance. Her ballet journey began in searching for the correct technique to enhance acrobatic dancing. A shift to a ballet focused career led to performances with the Alabama Ballet, Northwest Florida Ballet, and Mobile Ballet alongside New York City principal dancers. She was admitted to the University of Alabama dance program on full scholarship and performed in several student showcases before moving to Birmingham to pursue full time professional dancing. Lillie Ann has danced professionally with AROVA Contemporary Ballet and Birmingham Ballet and has experience in partnering, contemporary, ballet, and jazz. Her guest work also includes performances at the Alabama
Sidewalk Film Festival and music video appearances for local artist B. Snipes. Her cheerleading experience culminated in placing as a semifinalist for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders. Lillie Ann has won several awards highlighting her achievements in dance including Miss Tuscaloosa’s 2020 Overall Talent Winner, Miss UAB 2019 Overall Talent Winner, and Miss Alabama 2019 Overall Talent Award Winner. She now focuses on strengthening and conditioning as a beneficial supplement to dance and gymnastics and has worked with NFL and CFL athletes at St. Vincent’s Sports Performance Athlete Group helping train in flexibility.
