Originally from Prattville, Alabama, Rose grew up dancing competitively and training in a variety of styles from a young age. During her youth, she performed in numerous dance and acting productions at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival and appeared in the Montgomery Ballet's annual production of The Nutcracker.

Rose attended the University of Alabama, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Physical Education. She was a four-year member of the Alabama Dance Team, competing at UDA College Nationals at ESPN Wide World of Sports in both the Jazz and Game Day divisions. She also participated in Dance Alabama in 2020, further expanding her performance and artistic experience.

After graduating, Rose moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, where she danced professionally in the NHL with the Florida Panthers. During her time with the organization, she was part of the team as they celebrated the franchise's second consecutive Stanley Cup Championship.

After marrying her high school sweetheart, Rose returned to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where she continued to share her passion for dance as an instructor and choreographer. She currently serves as a staff instructor with UDA, traveling across the country to teach and inspire middle school, high school, and collegiate dance teams at camps and clinics nationwide.

In addition to dance, Rose teaches adult fitness classes that blend mat Pilates and Pure Barre-inspired movement. With experience in performance, education, choreography, and fitness, she is passionate about helping dancers build strong technique, confidence, artistry, and a lifelong love for movement. Rose looks forward to sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with the dancers and families at Encore Performance Company this season!
