Emma is a teacher and choreographer at Encore, where her choreography has earned recognition at both regional and national dance competitions. She earned her degree in Dance from The University of Alabama, receiving extensive training in ballet, modern, and jazz.

 

While at UA, Emma performed and choreographed for Dance Alabama! and Dance Collection, was a soloist in the Emerging Choreographers' Showcase, performed in the Dance Alabama Film Festival and various screendance projects, and served as an understudy for ARDT and Yonder Contemporary Dance Company. She volunteered with the Cerebral Palsy Engagement Workshop facilitating weekly adaptive dance classes. She also worked as a summer intern for the summer intensives at Joffrey Ballet School in New York City.

 

In addition to her studio and concert dance experience, Emma has taught dance team technique and choreographed for halftime field shows, bringing a diverse background in performance, choreography, and dance education.
